Luxury & Private Trans-Siberian Trains
In addition to the public schedule Trans-Siberian trains there are several private and luxury train options available offering fixed date departures. These trains are only available to tourists and so can offer a schedule that allows you to visit more stops along the Trans-Siberian route than is possible to do on the public trains and which can be done from the same train rather than having to use different trains for different sections of the trip. Most nights are spent aboard the trains making for a more settled trip. Cabin class standards vary something similar to a good Trans-Siberian public train to the very highest level more akin to presidential travel!
The Tsars Gold – also known as Zarengold – is a popular private train running the Moscow to Beijing Trans-Mongolian route. The Golden Eagle is a luxury Trans-Siberian train service that predominantly runs the Moscow to Vladivostok route with summer and winter departures. It is regarded as the most luxurious train option along the Trans-Siberian route making for the ultimate experience and, for those who can afford it, is the way to travel the Trans-Siberian in style. Passengers are limited to 120 with all cabins en-suite and 3 classes to choose from. Booking early is essential.
