KRASNOYARSK  OVERVIEW

Often overlooked on a Trans-Siberian trip, the prosperous city of Krasnoyarsk, located between Ekaterinburg and Irkutsk, has one of the more attractive settings along the Trans-Siberian route. It is also well known in Russia both for it’s cultural life as well as the fantastic scenery that can be found a short way outside of the city in the beautiful Stolby Nature Reserve. Krasnoyarsk is also the starting point for one of the world’s unsung river trips up into the arctic along the Yenisey River. All in all this destination is well worth a considering as a stopover.

HAND PICKED KRASNOYARSK ACCOMMODATION

Traditionally the soviet era Krasnoyarsk Hotel has been the best option. However, in recent years a few newer and smaller hotels have opened up and our favourite is the Soft Hotel or the Neo Dom Hotel.
