WHAT KIND OF TRANS-SIBERIAN TOURS DO YOU OFFER?

In short - pretty much every kind of tour that is available! Broadly, our trips are of two types. Firstly there are the trips that use the public trains that run along the routes. Within the bounds of the timetables we can tailor these trips to your requirements. Secondly there are trips by the private tourist trains including Tsars Gold, Golden Eagle and Imperial Russia. These are group tours with fixed departure dates and itineraries although we can on additional services at either end of the trip.

What is the Difference between public and private trains?

When we refer to a "Public Train" these are the scheduled services in Russia that run as part of the public transport system and for which anyone can buy a ticket. "Private Trains" refer to chartered tourist trains (including the Golden Eagle, Imperial Russia and Tsars Gold) which run fixed date group trips solely for tourists. These are more comfortable and have better facilities (and are also more expensive!) than the public trains.

It is useful for us to know when you want to go and from how long the trip should be as well as an idea of your budget. Once we know this we can advise which options might be right for you.

CAN YOU TAILOR OUR TOUR TO OUR REQUIREMENTS?

We can and very often do this for the trips that use the public trains. We pride ourselves in having the depth of knowledge required to make the trip that is perfect for you work logistically and be a fantastic experience.

DO YOU CATER FOR SPECIFIC DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?

Yes! Providing we know at the time of booking what dietary or medical conditions we should be aware of we can cater for most situations and needs.

WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE BOOK YOUR TOURS?

You! As we offer such a wide range of tours we have an equally wide client base from families with children to couples on honeymoon to people celebrating a retirement or milestone birthday. We have had babies to admirably adventurous octogenarians. Our clients come from all over the world which reflects what a special trip the Trans-Siberian is and we welcome all to take these trips.

CHOOSE A CITY TO START YOUR TRIP FROM

The easiest way to start exploring trips is to decide which city you would like to be your start point for your Trans-Siberian tour. The options are Moscow, St Petersburg, Vladivostok, Beijing or Ulaanbaatar. If you are unsure, the most popular option is Moscow. There is no particular advantage or disadvantage to where you start and it usually comes down to personal preference and what works best for flights.
